Andrew's background was in fantasy art, so he therefore decided to create a dragon in the grotesque style he is now known for.

Andrew:

"In this piece I wanted to capture a moment in time. Based on a picture that I have of my father and I in the 1970's. My father used to brush his hair over to one side and it would stick out a bit. I have my flared trousers on whilst looking a bit glum. We are having a conversation about my next football match and what I should be doing on the pitch!"
