Can I Collect my Goods?
 
Yes, you are very welcome to collect from our shop which is open 7 days a week.
 
What if I cannot find what I am looking for?
 
We have too many products to list them all on our web site so please contact us or telephone 01525 290569, and we will let you know if we can help.
 
What if you are not showing the Quantity I want?
 
We receive stock deliveries most days so please contact us or telephone 01525 290569, and we will give you an indication of when we are expecting to receive a further delivery of the item in question.
 
What are the Shipping or Postal Costs?
 
Shipping charges will be shown at the Checkout without any commitment to buy.
 
We offer free shipping on large orders - see our Home Page for details. 
 
Most shipping charges are based on weight, and include packing and postage costs.
 
Do I need to give you my telephone number ?
 
No, but if you do it will enable us to contact you quicker if we have any questions about your order. Also, some carriers may contact you if they have any difficulty in making the delivery. We will not pass your telephone number to any other third parties.
 
What if my order is 'Out of Stock'?
 
This does not happen very often as we normally only list items held in stock.  Be aware that some Internet sellers do not carry any stock at all, and will only order the goods from the manufacturer when you place an order.
 
If you have placed an order and we cannot immediately fulfil the order, we will contact you and let you know. We'll give you an estimated delivery time and then 'chase' your order with our suppliers till it comes in.
 
How long will it take for my goods to arrive?

 

We normally prepare your order for shipping within 24 hours of receiving payment (does not include weekends and bank holidays). You will receive an 'Order Completed' notification when the order is packed and ready for despatch. UK deliveries will normally arrive within 7 working days, and sometimes quicker. If there is to be any delay in despatch you will be informed by email. If you need an urgent delivery the First Class shipping is quick but does not guarantee next day delivery. We can arrange guaranteed next day delivery at extra cost - please contact us for a quote.

 

Who will deliver my order?

 

We are currently using Royal Mail for small and light orders, and Hermes, Yodel or City Link for larger packages. A card will be left if you are out when delivery is attempted. Most overseas deliveries are sent by DHL.

What happens if I am out when the parcel is delivered?

When placing your order please use the Comments Box to indicate a safe place to leave your parcel if you are out.

Some orders will require a signature, in which case a card will be left for you to arrange a re-delivery.


Tracking deliveries?

 

You may have a tracking number on your 'Order Completed' notification. For UK deliveries Hermes tracking numbers are 16 digits. Yodel numbers start 8PT.  DHL tracking numbers start JD00 (remove any spaces). City Link numbers start ART. You can check progress on their web sites by clicking the links in this paragraph.

 

What if my Goods Arrive Damaged?

 

We are experienced at packaging delicate goods and breakages in transit are rare. If you are unlucky, please let us know immediately, and within 3 days at the latest, using the contact form, or by telephone (Monday to Friday only).

 

Are the Photos the actual items I will receive?

 

Because of the large volume of items we sell we often use library photos. If you are buying a hand made item we can email you a larger photo of the actual item, but this can only be done Monday to Friday during normal office hours, so it may take a little time. Can I have more information about the Item before I buy?

Are the weights shown in the product description accurate?
