Can I Collect my Goods?

Do you Gift Wrap?
Yes, for a small fee. Add the item to your shopping cart and then click on View Cart where you will see a tick box for Gift Wrapping. You can leave a greeting message in the Comments box if you wish, or contact us separately with the message.
Do I need to give you my telephone number ?
Yes, it will enable us to contact you quicker if we have any questions about your order. Also, some carriers provide tracking details to mobile numbers. We will not pass your telephone number to any other third parties or use it for marketing calls.
What if my order is 'Out of Stock'?
This does not happen very often as we normally only list items held in stock.  Be aware that some Internet sellers do not carry any stock at all, and will only order the goods from the manufacturer when you place an order. If another web sites indicate that they will only charge your card when the item is despatched, this is likely to indicate that goods are not held in stock.
If you have placed an order and we cannot immediately fulfil the order, we will contact you and let you know. We'll give you an estimated delivery time and then 'chase' your order with our suppliers till it comes in.
How long will it take for my goods to arrive?
We pack orders as quickly as possible and orders are normally despatched within 1-2 days of receipt, although they may take a little longer at busy times. Our couriers only collect Monday to Friday. Large orders may take an extra day because of the time required to carefully pack them. Orders to the Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland will take longer to deliver, typically 3-7 working days.
Timescales will be slightly longer in busy periods such as the summer holidays and in the run up to Christmas.
You will receive an 'Order Completed' notification when the order is packed and ready for despatch. UK mainland deliveries will normally arrive within 1 to 2 working days after the Order Completed notification. Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland take longer, usualy 3 - 6 working days.
If there is to be any delay in despatch you will be informed by email.
If your order has not arrived within 7 working days of receiving the Order Completed Notification, please contact us without delay. We cannot accept claims for non-delivery which are more than 28 days from the date of despatch.
What happens if I am out when the parcel is delivered?
When placing your order please use the Comments Box to indicate a safe place to leave your parcel if you are out.
What if my Goods Arrive Damaged?
We are experienced at packaging delicate goods and breakages in transit are rare. If you are unlucky, please let us know immediately, and within 3 days at the latest, using the contact form, or by telephone (Monday to Friday only).
Are the Photos the actual items I will receive?
Because of the large volume of items we sell we often use library photos. If you are buying a hand made item we can email you a larger photo of the actual item, but this can only be done Monday to Friday during normal office hours, so it may take a little time. Please telephone or contact us with details of the product.
Are the weights shown in the product description accurate?
These should not be relied upon, and usually include estimated packing materials. If you need to know the precise weight of an item, please telephone 01525 290569 or contact us with details of the product.
The Box I have received is not what I was expecting
Please check the contents. As part of our Green Credentials we use lots of recycled boxes. We do our best to be green and recycle as much as possible and we collect used boxes from several Woburn shops to save them going to the tip.
